Do you believe in “lucky shots”? I have a better shot at the lottery…

Obama’s “Peace” Partners rocket attack plane of America’s top military General, General Martin Dempsey, at Bagram Airbase

Another obvious security leak from poisonous, anti-freedom policies of regime Obama. Ah, the loyalty Obama engenders from our “allies.”

More peacebuilding from Obama’s “peace partners.” This just days after US troops were killed by an Afghan police attack, and not a week after three US soldiers were murdered during the Ramadan meal (the meal that one of the victims, Captain Menoukian, insisted that his Marines observe). Despite the respect, subservience and dhimmitude displayed by the US military, they were murdered anyway. Full-on jihad.

These acts of jihad were “virtually unheard of just a few years ago” when America was the “strong horse.” But Obama’s anti-freedom pro-jihad foreign policy has given the global jihad a new lease on death and all but erased whatever gains were made under Bush.Obama has resurrected the Taliban.

Summer Death Toll: America’s War Dead

They are attacking our top military leaders now and Obama is still stalking the Taliban as a peace partner while they spit in his face and slaughter our boys and girls. Such anti-freedom, pro-jihad foreign policy is madness. These open attacks on coalition forces and less devout Muslims are daily now. The supreme leader of the Taliban boasted on Thursday night that the insurgents are infiltrating the quickly expanding Afghan forces.

Just last month, Barack Hussein Obama used the NATO summit to press Afghan leader Hamid Karzai to engage with greater urgency with the Taliban about a political settlement in Afghanistan. “Political settlement” Obama-speak for surrender to jihad. The media’s silence on Obama’s unprecedented failure in Afghanistan (the good war, remember?) borders on sedition.

Why isn’t Romney talking about this?

Two hurt as rocket hits plane of US general in Afghanistan – sparking fears over Dempseysecurity leaks Daily Mail, August 21, 2012

Worrying: A rocket fired on a U.S. airbase in Afghanistan early today damaged the aircraft of America’s top military officer, General Martin Dempsey, pictured right

A rocket fired on a U.S. airbase in Afghanistan early today damaged the aircraft of America’s top military officer and wounded two maintenance crew.

Two insurgent rockets struck the vast Bagram air field overnight, with one causing damage to the C-17 used by General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, who later left the base using another plane.

Shrapnel from the rocket struck the door of the plane while it was parked on the runway, with two American maintenance crew suffering minor injuries in the attack, Dempsey’s spokesman Colonel Dave Lapan said.

The rockets posed no threat to the safety of Dempsey or his staff, who were asleep in their quarters at the time of the incident in the early hours of the morning, officers said.

A spokesman for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) described the rocket hitting the general’s plane as simply a lucky shot.

‘It was a C-17 that looked just like every other C-17 on the tarmac,’ he told AFP.

‘Indirect fire is not unusual at Bagram and there is absolutely no indication that this was an attack specfically targeting that plane,’ the spokesman said.

Dempsey had been visiting Kabul to meet commanders of the NATO-led force and Afghan top brass amid a surge in assaults by Afghan security personnel on their international colleagues.

A total of 10 soldiers, mostly Americans, have lost their lives at the hands of their Afghan allies in the past two weeks, and the attacks have caused almost one in every four coalition deaths in the war so far this month.

The total of 40 deaths so far this year amount to 13 percent of all international coalition fatalities in 2012.

The assaults have confounded the international force, which has touted its partnership with Afghan troops as the key to withdrawing its combat troops over the next two years.
